1. Scope
This Disclaimer applies to intendle editorial content, Discover, profiles, posts, Marketplace, Books, verification, checkout, messaging, Help Center materials, and external links. It supplements the Terms of Service and does not remove rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Services are operated by intendle ("intendle," "we," "us," or "our"). The operator's registered legal details are available on request via legal@intendle.com.
2. Platform Availability
intendle is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Maintenance, security work, provider failure, internet disruption, legal restriction, capacity limits, errors, or events outside reasonable control may interrupt or change the Services.
intendle does not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or that every defect will be corrected immediately.
3. No Sales, Reach, or Income Guarantee
intendle does not guarantee:
- approval of a profile, verification application, book, or Marketplace listing;
- a sale, booking, sponsorship, publication, interview, review, follower, reaction, or message;
- search or Discover placement;
- a minimum audience, reach, engagement, conversion, or revenue;
- continued visibility of content on a particular surface; or
- a professional, financial, reputational, or artistic result.
A user's results depend on many factors outside intendle's control, including content, pricing, reputation, demand, rights, fulfillment, location, competition, and user conduct.
4. Discover and Ranking
Discover is a rule-based sorting surface. It is not a promise of editorial endorsement, quality, authenticity, popularity, or commercial value. Eligibility and placement may change as content, Account status, rules, and platform operation change.
5. Seller-Listed Items
intendle is not the Seller of member-listed artworks or books. Except where intendle expressly agrees otherwise in a signed writing, intendle does not:
- authenticate or appraise an artwork or book;
- verify attribution, provenance, signature, edition, condition, title, legality, ownership, or market value;
- inspect, possess, store, conserve, frame, package, insure, or ship an item;
- guarantee a Seller's description or performance;
- guarantee that a Buyer will pay or that a payment will not be disputed; or
- guarantee that an item is suitable for investment, resale, exhibition, conservation, import, export, or a particular use.
Buyers should review the listing, Seller, documents, images, shipping, return terms, and any independent professional advice appropriate to the transaction.
6. Verification Indicators
A verification indicator means only that intendle completed the process described in the Verification Policy for the stated role and version. It is not:
- an artwork or book authentication;
- a professional license;
- a credit or solvency assessment;
- a criminal-background guarantee;
- a guarantee of lawful ownership, delivery, quality, or future conduct; or
- an endorsement by intendle.
7. Editorial Content
Articles are intendle editorial content. They may include reporting, analysis, criticism, opinion, interpretation, and information available at the time of publication. Facts, prices, schedules, affiliations, and external circumstances may later change.
intendle does not guarantee that editorial content remains current after publication. Corrections should be reported to legal@intendle.com or support@intendle.com with the article URL and supporting information.
8. Opinions and User Content
User profiles, posts, comments, messages, portfolios, listings, and other user content reflect the submitting user's statements, not necessarily the views of intendle. intendle may moderate user content but does not guarantee prior review of every submission.
The existence of content on intendle does not mean that intendle endorses it or has verified every statement.
9. Contact Between Users
A person who contacts or meets another user remains responsible for independent due diligence, safety planning, contractual review, and compliance with applicable employment, agency, and image-right laws.
10. External Links and Recommended Books
intendle may link to independent websites, including outside merchants associated with editorially recommended books. A link does not make intendle the seller or intermediary for the outside transaction and does not guarantee the external site's content, security, availability, price, inventory, privacy practices, or conduct.
A purchase made on an external site is governed by that site's terms. Any affiliate, sponsorship, or commercial relationship must be disclosed where applicable.
intendle receives no commission, affiliate income or other payment from these links. They are editorial recommendations only.
11. No Professional Advice
intendle content and tools do not provide legal, tax, investment, accounting, insurance, appraisal, authentication, conservation, customs, medical, mental-health, employment, or other regulated professional advice.
Users should obtain qualified advice for decisions requiring professional judgment. Nothing on intendle creates an attorney-client, accountant-client, fiduciary, insurer-insured, appraiser-client, or similar relationship.
12. Prices and Market Information
An asking price, sale price, editorial reference, popularity measure, or other market information is not an appraisal and does not predict future value. Art and book markets can be illiquid and subjective. A Buyer or Seller bears the risk of independent pricing decisions.
13. Security and Data
intendle uses safeguards described in the Privacy Policy but cannot guarantee absolute security. Users must protect credentials, devices, recovery methods, and payout information and must report suspected compromise promptly.
No online service can promise that data will never be lost, accessed unlawfully, delayed, or affected by a provider failure. Mandatory security and breach obligations remain unaffected.
14. Payment and Shipping Providers
Stripe, banks, payment methods, carriers, insurers, email providers, hosting providers, and other independent services have their own terms and operational risks. intendle does not control their networks, decisions, outages, reserves, delivery, or eligibility rules.
15. Mandatory Rights
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes fraud liability, willful misconduct, personal-injury liability, statutory consumer rights, data-protection duties, intellectual-property duties, or another right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Changes
A revised Disclaimer will display a new version and Last Updated date. A change does not retroactively eliminate a mandatory right or representation that formed part of an existing transaction.
